Renowned cartoonist Ragati Pandari dead VISAKHAPATNAM: Renowned cartoonist Ragati Pandari (50) passed away at a private hospital here after a brief illness caused by lung infection. Her organs were donated to Savitribai Phule Memorial Trust in the city.
Pandari was undergoing treatment for lung infection for some time now and was admitted to hospital after her condition deteriorated a month ago, following the demise of her mother Santha Kumari.
Pandari lived with her brother in the city and continued to draw cartoons till she was hospitalised. Pandari became a victim of polio at very early in her life and was wheel-chair bound and bed-ridden. But her physical condition did not discourage her from pursuing her love for art.
