KCR's statement on 'settlers' is politically motivated Hyderabad, Feb 20 (INN): The Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao himself had raised the issue of 'settlers' in Hyderabad.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, BJP National Executive member N Ramchander Rao said that KCR was the one who raised the issue of 'settlers' and created controversy.
However, now he changed his stand by saying that everyone living in the city are 'Hyderabadis'. He said KCR statement was aimed at drawing political mileage during the MLC elections for Graduate Constituencies, Sanathnagar Assembly by-elections and forthcoming GHMC elections.
Ramchander Rao demanded that KCR maintain one stand on any given issue. He also advised him to start acting like an elected representative and not like a 'Tughlaq' (monarch).
