Hundreds participate in Green Run at Necklace Road
Hyderabad, Feb 22 (INN): Hundreds of students and youth participated in the Harithon - The Green Run organised by the Plant 3 Protection Alliance (P3PA), an NGO, at People's Plaza, Necklace Road here on Sunday.
The Harithon, inaugurated by Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha, was aimed at creating awareness among people to promote eco-friendly ways for a better living and green commuting. The 5 KM Green Run started at Peoples Plaza and passes through PV Ghat, Jala Vihar anc concluded at Peoples Plaza. Hundreds of enthusiastic students of schools and colleges, employees of corporate companies and youth participated in the Green Run.
'P3PA has come up with many initiatives to achieve their objective to promote the importance of eco-living for a better tomorrow. Some of them are Mass plantations, Cleaning campaigns, Green Run, distribution of Organic Shirts, Green exhibition' said, Harithon chairperson Sanjeev Ravadi.
