CS reviews Irrigation Projects in AP
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao held a review meeting on irrigation projects and issued instructions to the Forest Department to issue GOs wherever Govt. of India clearance have been received.
The Chief Secretary chaired the meeting at the A.P. Secretariat on Tuesday to discuss the issues relating to Forest clearances for pending Irrigation Projects. He advised the departments concerned that, in respect of pending cases of the Irrigation, the Irrigation Department will have to file requisitions with Forest Department. In the latter case of those pending issues the Forest Department advised to expedite clearances for taking up of the works.
Principal Secretary Irrigation Aditya N Das, Asst. Prl. CCF, Forest Department Dr. S.N. Jadhav and others participated in the meeting.
