Journalists evacuated from C Block with out notice HYDERABAD: Days after chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao proposed curbs on entry of media into the state Secretariat, security personnel in the C-Block which houses the CM's office, asked the media men to vacate the C-block leading to protests by media personnel.
The security personnel asked the news reporters, who were in the CPRO office, to leave the C-block and stay at the media lounge outside the C-block and said they were instructed to do so by the I&PR commissioner RV Chandravadan.
Media personnel confronted the Telangana Press Academy chairman Allam Narayana, who was at the CMO. Narayana assured to take up the issue with the chief minister and after an hour came out only to tell that there were no restrictions over entry of reporters into the C-block 'as of now' but indicated that the government is considering to put some curbs in future.
Narayana along with other media personnel took up the issue with the CPRO and also the I&PR commissioner.
