Budget session may last till March 31
Hyderabad: The Business Advisory Committees (BAC) of Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council have finalised the agenda for the conduct of budget session.
While Speaker S Madhusudan Chary chaired the Assembly's BAC, the Council's BAC meeting was chaired by Council chairman Swamy Goud. During the meetings, it has been decided to have debate on Motion of Thanks on Governor's Address on 9th and 10th March. The budget will be introduced on March 11. While the Appropriation Bill will be introduced in the Assembly on March 26, it will be taken up on March 27 in Legislative Council. While there will be holidays on 28th and 29th March, if required, the sessions will be held on 30th and 31st March.
While the sessions of both Assembly and Council will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on Monday, the House will meet at 9.30 am on remaining days. The House will be conducted for full time for four to five days.
