Speaker disallows three adjournment motions Hyderabad, March 9 (INN): Assembly Speaker S Madhusudan Chary has disallowed three adjournment motions moved by the Congress and Left Party in Telangana State Legislative Assembly on Monday.
As soon as the House assembled today, Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy moved an adjournment motion notice seeking discussion on defection of legislators of opposition parties to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. While CPM MLA Sunnam Rajaiah wanted debate on impact of drought on chilly crops in Khammam, CPI legislator R Ravinder Kumar wanted the House to discuss the conditions in drought-hit mandals.
The Speaker disallowed all the three adjournment motions. Although he wanted to take up the Question Hour, but that too was postponed due to the uproar created by the TDP MLAs.
