SCR GM conducts inspection of Guntur Division Hyderabad, Dec 14 (INN): South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav undertook annual inspection of Guntur Division today. He was accompanied by V.G.Bhooma, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntur Division throughout the inspection.
The General Manager commenced the inspection at Railway Level Crossing between Nagireddypalli - Valigonda section, inaugurated gang rest rooms at Level Crossing No.16 and 21 between Valigonda - Ramannapet sections and interacted with the gatemen on the safety aspects. He inspected Chityla Railway Station, Inaugurated Sr.Section Engineers office (P.Way) and Store room.
At Nalgonda station, General Manager inaugurated RO Plant for the facility of Passengers. He under took detailed inspection of the station, covering Passenger amenities available including food stalls and divyang facilities, waiting halls, Booking Office, Railway Protection Force post, Station Masters room and circulating area etc, inspected Railway Institute and Inaugurated Children park in the Railway colony for the benefit of railway children. The General Manager received representations from public representatives and interacted with Media persons and briefed on ongoing railway projects in the region. The General Manager also inspected Minor Bridge between Nalgonda - Rayanagudem section and conducted speed test between Rayanagudem - Vishnupuram section. He halted at Krishna Bridge (Major) between Vishnupuram - Pondugula section and inspected the Safety standards being followed.
At Nadikudi Railway station he inspected entire station premises including passenger amenities available, Central Cabin, Running room, Health unit and interacted with the medical officer on the facilities. He briefed media on the rail developmental works. The General Manager inspected a Minor Bridge at Ballamkonda Station. At Sattenapalli Railway station, General Manager inaugurated renovated Sr. Section Engineers (P.way) office and stores and planted sapling in the office premises.
Principal Chief Engineer K.V. Siva Prasad and other senior officials have accompanied day long inspection.
