Lokesh inaugurated SAEL's 600 MW solar projects at Jammalamadugu in Rayalaseema - developed with an investment of ₹3,000 crore. The project was completed in a record 11 months under the state government's Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2024, he said
This is more than a solar project. It reflects the speed, scale, and execution capability that Andhra Pradesh is becoming known for. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, AP is moving with a clear vision to emerge as India's clean energy capital and attract ₹10 lakh crore in green energy investments, Lokesh said.
He said what makes him especially happy is how the SAEL team integrated with the local community in Rayalaseema - creating livelihoods, supporting local families, and becoming partners in the region's growth story. Development succeeds when local communities grow alongside industry. He conveyed best wishes to the leadership of SAEL and said they look forward to more such projects coming up soon.
In a post on Twitter Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said Andhra Pradesh is where the Speed of Doing Business meets the Speed of Execution. SAEL's 600 MW solar project in Rayalaseema was dedicated to the people.
Naidu said built with an investment of ₹3,000 crore in a record 11 months, this landmark project reflects their unwavering commitment to a sustainable future and reinforces Andhra Pradesh's position at the forefront of India's clean energy transition.
He complimented SAEL_India team for completing the project in record time and for creating meaningful benefits for our people through jobs, development, and new opportunities.
