Burglars strike at two places in city
Hyderabad, Oct 17 (INN): Some unknown burglars committed a major theft of gold jewellery and cash from a house in the Hayathngar police limits. The incident happened in the house of Srinivas, a kirana merchant, located in Bhavanigui of Peddamberpet.
According to the complaint filed with the police, Srinivas along with his family members returned to his house on Sunday after attending a wedding. While the family was asleep on the top floor, some burglars entered the house and decamped with 9.5 tolas of gold jewellery, Rs 25,000 cash and some silver articles. Basing on the complaint, police registered a case and started investigations.
In another incident, some unknown burglars committed the theft of cash and gold from the house of Ayesha Parveen located at Road No 3 in Lalilath Nagar.
According to LB Nagar, Ayesha took her child to a hospital in the afternoon after locking the house. However, when she returned after an hour she found that the lock was broken and cash and gold jewellery was missing from the house. Police started investigations to trace the burglars.
