Two killed in road accidents Hyderabad, Oct 19 (INN): A 22-year-old youth died on the spot after he was run over by a RTC bus on the NH-7 bus stop here on Wednesday. The deceased was later identified as Ashok, a resident of Kullapadka village.
He was employed as a security guard with the NIRD. According to Shamshabad police, the accident happened when Ashok fell on the road after being hit by a speeding bike near the NH-7 and then run over by the RTC bus. The bike rider also sustained serious injuries in the accident.
In a separate case of hit and run, a 45-year-old man was killed when the bike he was riding was hit by unknown vehicle near Shivarampally on Wednesday.
According to Rajendranagar police, the deceased Syed Shahnawaz, a lineman of electricity department and resident of Hasan Nagar, was killed while he was returning home from Shivarampally. A case has been registered and investigations are on.
