Fake job racket busted, one held Hyderabad, Oct 23 (INN): The Central Zone of the Commissioner's Task Force arrested one person who allegedly cheated jobless youth by promising them placement in a leading IT firm in Bangalore.
According to police, the accused ' Kokkula Ravi, a resident of AS Rao Nagar, lured the unemployed youth by promising them jobs in the Wipro Technologies.
His associates Rajasekhar and Hamed used to act like Wipro's HR managers. He used to send the candidates to Bangalore and conduct telephonic interviews with these fake managers.
By adopting the above modus operandi Ravi conducted interviews for about 10 candidates and collected amount to the tune of Rs 12 lakh in the guise of caution deposit with Wipro Technologies and issued fake offer letters.
On a tip off the sleuths of Central Zone Task Force team after making sustained efforts apprehended Ravi and handed him over to Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar Police Station for taking further necessary action in a case registered against him. Efforts are on to arrest the absconding accused Rajasekhar and Hamed, police said.
