Two sisters found murdered at home
Hyderabad, Nov 4 (INN): In a gruesome incident, two sisters were found murdered at their residence in the Asif Nagar police limits here on Friday. The deceased - Laala Bai (58) and Munni Bai (48) were residents of Syed Ali Guda on Jhirra Road.
According to police, the incident came to light after their niece Sunita returned home after taking her son Ravi from school on Friday afternoon. They raised an alarm after finding their aunts in a pool of blood. The neighbours immediately informed the police about the incident.
Besides the sleuths of Asif Nagar police station, CLUES team and a special team from Detective Department of the Central Crime Station reached the spot and started investigations. A dog squad was also pressed into service.
Both the women had multiple stab injuries. Police suspect the involvement of some insider and more than one person in the double murder as neighbours did not hear any screams when the incident happened. Family dispute over distribution of property is also suspected to the cause.
The deceased sisters had four brothers including Kanhaiyya Lal and Nandu Lal who have passed away. The other two brothers are Arjun Lal and Basant Lal. Further investigations are on.
