Notorious absconding cheater arrested Hyderabad, Nov 8 (INN): The South Zone team of Commissioner's Task Force on Tuesday arrested a notorious absconding accused Maodood Ahmed Khan, who was involved in 13 cases of cheating and other offences.
According to Additional DCP (Task Force) Suhas Chaturvedi, the accused Khan was involved in cases of cheating, promoting enmity between classes and assault on police personnel in Hussaini Alam, Panjagutta, Asif Nagar, Begumpet, Humayun Nagar, Langar Houz and Rajender Nagar police station limits. The 37-year-old Khan used to operate as Messiah Mehdi Mahadev and Lord Shiva.
Khan used to contact people who were having some financial problems, taking longer treatments of hospitals and other problems which they don't reveal. Claiming that he had knowledge of black magic and super spiritual powers, he used to collect huge amounts from them.
In the month April this year, when the police party went to apprehend him in a criminal case he assaulted them and escaped from the clutches of police and was evading arrest. The accused was handed over to Asif Nagar Police Station for taking further necessary action as an NBW is pending there.
