Three killed in auto-car collision
Mahbubnagar, Nov 16 (INN): Three persons were killed and four others sustained injuries when a car hit an auto-rickshaw near a residential school at Chityal in Vanaparthy mandal of Mahbubnagar district on Wednesday.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as Rani (30), Suryanayak (27) and a three-year old girl Soujanya.
In the incident, both Rani and Suryanayak, who hailed from Samireddypalli Tanda in Peddamandadi mandal, died on the spot and Soujanya died while undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital in Vanaparthy.
Police said that the mishap occurred when the auto-rickshaw heading from Peddamandi to Vanaparthy collided with a speeding car coming from the opposite direction near Chityal.
Four other persons who were injured in the accident have been shifted to Vanaparthy Government Hospital for treatment. The condition of two of them is said to be critical.
