Six killed in road accidents Hyderabad, Nov 21 (INN): Six people were killed in separate road accidents in the city in the last 24 hours.
A 45-year-old man died on the spot after the bike he was riding hit a road divider near Golconda Artillery Centre late on Sunday night. The deceased, C Yadaiah, was a resident of Chilkur in Moinabad and used to work as a watchman.
The pillion rider, Shaik Mohsin, sustained injuries and undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital, Golconda police said.
In a separate case, M Ramana, 40, of NTR Nagar, died on the spot after his bike was hit by another motorcycle coming from opposite direction while he was taking a u-turn near Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in the LB Nagar police limits on Sunday night.
In another accident, a pedestrian, 35-year-old B Mangamma was killed instantaneously after she was hit by a speeding motor-cycle was she crossing the road near Kamineni Hospital on LB Nagar Roads.
In another incident, 4-year-old P Nadini succumbed to the injuries that she suffered after she was hit by an auto-trolley while she was playing near her home in Bowepally on November 9. She was undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital where she died on Monday.
In a similar case, Panduranga, 34, of Madannavam, died of injuries that he suffered on November 11 when the bike he was riding was hit by a DCM van near Sagar Ring Road. According to LB Nagar police, Panduranga died on Monday morning while undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital.
Another pedestrian, Shivaram, 51, died of injuries that he suffered after being hit by a Tata Ace vehicle near Karman Ghat in Saroornagar police limits on November 13.
He was admitted in a private hospital where he succumbed on Sunday night while undergoing treatment. Shivaram was a RTC driver and resident of Banjara Nagar in Malakpet.
