B Tech student among three killed in road mishaps Hyderabad, Nov 23 (INN): Three persons including a B Tech student were killed in separate cases of accidents in the city and its outskirts.
In a gruesome accident, 17-year-old S R Jhansi was crushed to death by the same RTC bus in which she was travelling near Anojiguda Petrol Bunk late on Tuesday.
According to Ghatkesar police, Jhansi boarded the RTC bus of Dilsukhnagar Depot at LB Nagar to return home from her college. Since the bus was crowded, Jhansi was standing on the foot board. When the RTC driver took a steep turn, she fell down and got crushed under the bus tyre.
In another case, D Ravi Kumar, 28, who suffered injuries after the bike he was riding was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle near Adikmet flyover bridge on November 18, died in a private hospital on Wednesday.
He was a resident of Satya Raghavendra Colony in Malkajgiri and was an employee of a private firm.
In another incident, 30-year-old K Ramesh succumbed to the injuries that he suffered when his bike skidded after he hit a street dog near Gangotri School in the Tandur police limits on November 17.
He died on Tuesday night while undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital. Ramesh, an agriculturist, was a native of Jangaon village, police said.
