Jobless man, three others commit suicide Hyderabad, Nov 25 (INN): A 48-year-old man, Sebastian, who consumed some unknown poison, succumbed at the Gandhi Hospital here on Friday.
According to Alwal police, Sebastian, took the extreme step at his residence in Yapral on Thursday night while he was alone. He was immediately rushed to the Gandhi Hospital where he died on Friday.
Police say that Sebastian was jobless for the last seven years and that could be the reason that led him to commit suicide.
In another incident, P Kanakaiah, 40, of Anjaiah Nagar, who set himself ablaze on November 19, succumbed to burn injuries at the Gandhi Hospital on Thursday.
According to Jeedimetla police, Kanakaiah was rebuked his wife when he came to his house in an inebriated condition on Nov 19. Felt insulted, he took the extreme step.
In a different incident, 46-year-old Sriram committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan at his residence near Chikkadpally on Friday morning.
He was unwell for past few months and was discharged from a private hospital about 10 days ago. Police suspect that ill-health might be the reason that led him to commit suicide.
In a separate case, Narasimha, 60, of Parsigutta, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan at his residence on Friday. The reasons that led him to take the extreme step are yet to be ascertained. Musheerabad police are investigating the case.
