Lorry driver jumps to death
Hyderabad, Nov 26 (INN): A lorry driver was killed instantaneously after he jumped down from the PV Narasimha Rao Flyover in the Humayun Nagar police limits.
The driver, Mallapa, has reportedly hit a Tavera vehicle while coming from Shamshabad on Friday night. However, he escaped from the spot by taking his lorry to the flyover.
He was reportedly chased and stopped by the Tavera vehicle driver who also beat him up. Meanwhile, watching a police vehicle coming in the same direction, the Tavera driver fled from the scene. Fearing action by the police, Mallapa jumped down and died on the spot. Humayun Nagar police registered a case and are investigating.
