Ill-health drives two persons to suicide Hyderabad, Nov 28 (INN): In separate cases, two persons committed suicide due to ill-health.
A 30-year-old labourer, Krishna, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan at his residence in Patancheru on Sunday night. According to RC Puram police, Krishna, a native of East Godavari district, was unwell for the last few months and the same reason is suspected to have led him to commit suicide.
In another case, 55-year-old Gangamma succumbed to burn injuries that she suffered after set herself ablaze on Sunday.
She poured kerosene on her body and set herself ablaze at her residence in Erramanzil. She was immediately rushed to the Gandhi Hospital where she died last Sunday.
According to IDA Bollaram police, Gangamma has health problems for the last six months. She attempted to commit suicide on November 24. However, she was saved by her relatives. But on Sunday, while she was alone at her residence, she resorted to the extreme step, police said.
