Man held for attempt to murder Hyderabad, Nov 29 (INN): The Hayathnagar police on Tuesday arrested one person who allegedly stole a bike by stabbing its owner.
Police say that the accused - Tirupati took lift from 24-year-old Maharishi while he was going on his bike near the Outer Ring Road in Hayathnagar.
However, after a few moments he stabbed Maharishi with a knife and fled from the scene while taking his bike. Some passersby came to the rescue of Maharishi and informed the police. He was later shifted to a hospital where he is still undergoing treatment.
Based on bike's registration number, the Hayathnagar police traced Tirupati and arrested him on the charges of attempt to murder.
