Red Alert in city for Babri anniversary Hyderabad, Dec 4 (INN): The City Police has sounded a Red Alert in view of Black Day call given by some organizations on December 6 to mark the anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition.
According to police commissioner, AK Khan, vehicle checking operations have already been started in Hyderabad and Secunderabad and they would continue till December 7 morning.
Further, all the communal offenders have been taken into preventive custody. Besides the city police personnel, additional forces have been deployed across the city, especially in all sensitive areas. Elaborate bandobust is being made to avert any untoward incident in the city, the commissioner said.
