Police trace kidnapped girl in six hours Hyderabad, Dec 9 (INN): The City Police on Friday traced a three-year-old girl within six hours after she was kidnapped.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, West Zone DCP M Stephen Ravindra said that the baby Navya was kidnapped by an unidentified woman near Gudimalkapur at around 8.30 am on Friday.
Navya's father Gedela Vasu, a resident of Mandulaguda near Gudimalkapur complained to the police that his daughter was kidnapped while they were returning to their house after performing pooja from Hanuman Temple.
On receipt of complaint, a case was registered at the Asifnagar police station and police started investigations. Six special teams were formed to trace out the kidnapped girl.
The teams were sent to Nampally and Secunderabad railway stations, Bus stations at Jubilee Hills and Imlibun and surrounding police stations of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad were put on alert.
The look notice for the kidnapped girl baby Navya was immediately pasted at all notable places and busy shopping complexes and areas. All the police personnel on duty and the Task Force were also put on the job.
Finally, one of the search parties which undertook checks around Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station could locate the girl, with the assistance of RTC personnel. The girl was promptly handed over to the parents.
