Young couple succumb to burn injuries
Hyderabad, Dec 19 (INN): A small domestic dispute resulted in the tragic end of a young couple.
The couple, M Raju and his wife Lata, had an argument over a domestic issue on December 16. Out of rage, Raju tried to set ablaze Lata at their residence in Jhirra and consequently, he also caught fire.
Both were admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where Raju succumbed to burn injures late Sunday while Lata died Monday morning.
According to Asifnagar police, Raju and Lata were married about three years ago. However, Raju became a habitual drunkard and tried to set his wife ablaze in an inebriated condition. Further investigations are on.
