Labourer held for wife's murder Hyderabad, Dec 24 (INN): The City Police on Saturday arrested a labourer on the charges of killing his wife.
According to Banjara Hills police, the accused Sai Prasad beat up his wife Savithri, 30, to death after the duo had an argument in an inebriated condition on Friday night.
Prasad told the police that Savithri, developed a habit of stealing some items from the households where she worked as maid. She entered into an argument when he objected to her stealing.
The argument turned serious and Prasad started beating her up. Prasad also told the police that Savithri herself hit her head on a boulder which led to her death.
However, police registered a case of murder against Prasad. The couple had four children.
