Man injured in zoo train mishap Hyderabad, Dec 25 (INN): An elderly man was seriously injured after he was hit by the train in the Nehru Zoological Park here on Sunday.
According to police, Venkataswamy, a retired RTC employee, came to the zoological park along with his family members on Sunday.
Meanwhile, he got a call on his mobile and he started speaking while standing on the railway tracks. However, the train, that carries the zoo visitors, came from behind and hit him. Both his legs were reportedly got crushed under the train's wheels.
Venkataswamy was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital and later shifted to a private hospital. His condition is said to be critical.
