Woman stabbed to death
Hyderabad, Jan 1 (INN): A 40-year-old woman suffered grievous injuries when she was beaten up and stabbed by a rowdy-sheeter and his siblings in Amberpet police limits on Sunday.
According to police, Padmamma was allegedly beaten up by Santosh, a rowdy sheeter, and his brother and sister near her residence in Raghunath Nagar on Sunday morning.
Santosh had an argument with Padamamma during the new year celebrations near her residence after he accidentally fell down and suffered a minor head injury. However, he along with his siblings came to Padamamma's residence on Sunday morning and beat her up and later stabbed her.
Padamma was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where she died in the evening. Amberpet police registered a case of murder and started investigations. The accused are said to be absconding.
