Sabitha assures Manjira water to Vikarabad
Vikarabad, Jan 9 (INN): Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on Monday promised to get Manjira river water to Viakarabad town in Rangareddy district by month end.
'The government will make all arrangements to inaugurate the drinking water supply project by the end of January and allocate enough funds,' she told reporters here.
The Home Minister gave this assurance to the TRS protestors, led by former MLA Chandrasekhar, tried to picket her residence.
The former MLA alleged that Sabitha failed to address the district problems and neglecting Vikarabad mandal after her election. With Home Minister giving the assurance, the TRS activists withdrew their dharna.
