Couple killed in car accident
Hyderabad: A couple from Kadapa district, who were in the city on tour, were killed when a speeding car hit them at Banjara Hills road near KBR Park on Friday.
According to police, Subbaraidu, about 35 years old, and his wife Jayamma (30) visited KBR park at Banjara Hills road No-2.
While crossing the main road at around 7.30 pm, a speeding Indica cab, with registered number AP 9 TV 9636, owned by one Mohammad Abdul Nayeem, coming from Jubilee Hills check post hit the couple. Both the wife and husband succumbed to severe injuries on the spot and died.
While the driver is still absconding, the police have registered a hit and run case on the driver.
