Budding singer Vyshnavi dies in mishap Hyderabad: An upcoming singer, Vyshnavi Krishna, died in a road accident while her uncle sustained minor injuries when a speeding bus run by APSRTC knocked them down near State Bank of Hyderabad at Paradise Circle on Friday.
According to Mahankali Police Inspector S Ranga Rao, the victims were going on a bike from SBH towards CTO at around 10.30 am when the bus hit the two-wheeler from behind.
While 19-year-old Vyshnavi suffered grievous wounds and succumbed at Yashoda Hospital, her uncle Markandeya Prasad escaped with minor injuries.
The inspector said that the accident occurred due to the negligence of the bus driver GD Reddy who has been taken into custody.
The body of Vyshnavi has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for an autopsy. A native of Guntur, Vyshnavi arrived in the city only on Friday morning to attend a singing programme.
