Man dies as gun goes off
SANGAREDDY: One Rajendar Reedy (40) died on spot when a gun went off accidentally during a wedding reception at at a function hall under Ramachandrapuram police station limits on Thursday night.
The mishap occurred when Rajendar Reddy and his relative Narasimha Reddy were consuming liquor around 11 p.m.
The bullet went off accidentally when Narasimha Reddy was showing Rajendar Reddy on how to operate his licensed gun. He was immediately rushed to a hospital, but was pronounced dead.
On hearing the news of Rajendar Reddy's death, Narasimha Reddy fled from the scene. Police registered a case and sent a special team to nab Narasimha Reddy.
