Curfew to be relaxed for eight hours on Thursday
Hyderabad, April 11 (INN): The City Police has decided to relax curfew in Saidabad and Madannapet police limits for eight hours on Thursday.
According to police, curfew will be relaxed from 9 am to 5 pm on Thursday. The decision was taken in view of the peaceful conditions that prevailed in the Old City for the last three days, barring some minor incidents.
On Wednesday, the curfew was relaxed for four hours from 11 am to 3 pm and no untoward incident occurred during that period.
So far, the police have arrested 16 people in connection with 26 cases of communal violence registered in the South and East Zone of the City Police.
