Five hurt as cars collide on PVNR Express Way Hyderabad: Five persons were injured, two of them grievously, when three cars collided on the PV Express Way on Wednesday.
The injured were admitted to a hospital. According to police, a speeding Tata Indica car coming from Shamshabad towards Mehdipatnam on Wednesday afternoon lost control and hit a car from behind.
The impact was so high that the second car hit another car from behind and both the cars overturned on the Express Way near Pillar No. 106.
A 108 ambulance was called in for help which rushed the injured Srinivasa Raju and Chandrasekhar to a hospital. They were travelling in the second car that was hit by the Tata Indica.
Other three passengers of the third car were treated as outpatients and sent home, police said. Langer House police removed the cars from the express way quickly restoring the traffic. Police registered a case and launched investigations.
