Family friend behind attack on techie Anupama
HYDERABAD: The mystery behind the murderous attack on Anupama (22) in KPHB Colony limits on Monday has been solved with the arrest of her family friend Rajesh (27). Anupama, who is undergoing treatment at a city hospital, is still critical.
Rajesh inflicted serious stab injuries on Anupama's face. He confessed to the police that he had attacked Anupama as she spurned his proposal for marriage.
He further said that a heated argument ensued between them after which he pulled out a dagger and repeatedly attacked her on her face.
Rajesh used to work as a truck driver until a few years ago. He and Anupama hail from Pamarru in Krishna district.
