ATA Raffle Mercedes Benz winner Srinivas Mynampally
We are proud to announce the overwhelming success of the ATA 2012 Raffle. There were some unique aspects of this raffle. ATA 2012 raffle had many more prizes than any other raffle held by any similar telegu organization.
Raffle sales and management was co-ordinated by Mahipathi Nagendar ( MAHI) of Minneapolis and engaged high school kids and sophimare college kids during the event to manage the Raffle.
This gave them a good opportunity, experience and the motivation for the next generation to get involved with future ATA events.
The draw was conducted on 9 July and the winning tickets were picked by Telugu actress and diva Ilena in front of a record crowd during the event.
All volunteer kids were on stage with Ilena during the draw - We are sure this kind of experience for the future generation will motivate them to be more involved with ATA events going forward.
The drawing really excited the crowd and the palpable anticipation and hope was quite evident when each of the winning numbers were drawn. It was gratifying for the organization to have ended the event with a very happy note for many of the raffle buyers.
