YSR's birth anniversay held at ATA conference

The great Leader and Legend, late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy's Birthday was celebrated on July 8th, 2012 as part of ATA 12th Conference in Atlanta, USA.

Well known NRI, Dr. Lakkireddy Hanimi Reddy was the Chief Guest and Indian Union Minister of State for Defense, Pallam Raju was the Special Guest. ATA President Dr. Rajender Jinna, ATA past President and Founder Mr. Hanmanth Reddy, past President Mrs. Sandhya Gavva, Mr. Mohan Reddy Thalamarla (Chicago), Mr. Karunakar Madhavaram (ATA President-elect), Dr. Hari Krishna Reddy (Puttapathi ' YSRCP), Mr. Gone Prakash Rao, Mr. Narsa Reddy (MLA), Mr. Bhupal Reddy (MLC), Ghazal Srinivas, Mr. Jitta Surender Reddy, and Mr. Asireddy Dayakar Reddy paid homage by lighting jyothi and offering floral tributes to Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Hari Prasad Reddy Lingala (Detroit) welcomed the guests and gave an introduction speech emphasizing the importance of Dr. YSR's life for past, present and future.

He explained how YSR touched the hearts of millions of people. The video on the legacy of Dr. YSR was played at the event. The event was organized by Hari Lingala, Gurava Reddy, Gopinath Reddy, KSN Reddy, Yugandhar, Srinivas Kotluru, Pammi Subba Reddy, Ramesh Valluru, Sankar Bandi, Prasad Reddy Mallu, Raghu Padi, Purashotham, and Sreedhar T.

Sri Pallam Raju in his address mentioned that he was very fortunate that he could work closely with Dr. YSR under his great leadership. He remembered the services of the great leader to the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Dr. Lakkireddy Hanimi Reddy in his speech shared his experiences with Dr. YSR. He expressed the hope that YS Jagan will win 2014 elections with absolute majority to become the Chief Minister and fulfill the dreams of Dr.YSR.

Dr. Hari Krishna Reddy and Sri Gone Prakash Rao mesmerized the audience with their speeches. They recalled the popular welfare schemes introduced by YSR and emphasized the need to support Jagan for the welfare of the state.

Ghazal Srinivas shared his experiences with Dr. YSR and rendered ghazals and songs on Dr. YSR. Srinivasa Raju presented an emotional song on Dr. YSR.

In addition to the honorable guests, other NRIs who spoke at the occasion included Gurava Reddy, Sreedhar Korsapati, Ramesh Valluru, Dr. Ramachandra Reddy, KSN Reddy, Dr. Vasudeva Reddy, Satya Kandimalla, and Sharathchandra Reddy.

Dr. Hanimi Reddy cut the birthday cake along with the other guests, the audience raised slogans on Dr. YSR in great emotion.
