HMDA notifies 42 plots for auction
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Friday announced sale of 42 plots in Greater Hyderabad.
The plots, which will be auctioned through e-bidding and sealed tenders, are at Nallagandla Residential Complex (17), Tellapur Residential Complex (1), Ramachandrapuram Ring Town in Chandanagar (2), Gopanpally Residential Complex (11), Miyapur Residential Complex (9), New Asifnagar Residential Complex (1) and Nandagiri Hills (1).
HMDA metropolitan commissioner Neerabh Kumar Prasad said the sale of applications would commence at 11 am on July 14. Last date for submission of bids is 3 pm on August 7.
The bids will be opened at 11 am on August 8. The upset price of the plots will range from Rs 9,000 to Rs 25,000 per sq.yd in all the layouts.
The upset price of Nandagiri Hills plot, ad measuring about 4.695 acres, is Rs 18 cr an acre.

An EMD of 10 pc of the upset price should be remitted along with the application. The initial deposit (ID) will be 25 pc of the bid amount.
The total balance of initial deposit should be paid within seven days from the date of opening of the price bid without interest or half of the balance of initial deposit within seven days of opening of the bid without interest and the remaining half within 30 days of opening of bid at 12 pc interest.
Allotment will stand cancelled automatically if the initial deposit is not paid within the stipulated time. No separate notice will be issued and no correspondence will be entertained.
Sealed tenders should be submitted in two covers, one containing the mandatory documents such as application , EMD, PAN/ bank statement/certificate of incorporation, address proof and authorisation forms and the second cover containing the price bid.
