New Jersey NRI Srinivas to represent US hockey team

Srinivas Karuturi,(Srinu) a New Jersey resident, for his selection into Field Hockey Team USA, playing in Masters World Cup 2012, to be held in London from Aug 14th to 25th. All Telugu organizations in North America felicitated him today.
It was a proud moment for every NRI living in USA, when they came together to recognize the successful achievement by their fellow NRI, Srinu. He was represented in District level and State lever championships when he was in INDIA.
He pursued his passion even after 25 years he left India. He coached his daughter in field hockey over the years and has been actively coaching the local hockey teams.
When the Team USA decided to play in Masters World Cup 2012 for the first time, Srinu Karuturi was one among the probables andgot selected to the final team.
Today, representatives from all Telugu organizations gathered in New Jersey and felicitated him on behalf of North American NRIs.
Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium (SMEC) chairman Mahender Musuku shared his association with Srinu and said that all Indians living in USA are proud of Srinu and everybody has to learn from him on how to pursue a passion throughout life.
NATA Community Services standing committee chairman Srinivas Ganagoni congratulated Srinivas Karuturi for his successful achievement.
TFAS Standing Committee chairman Ramesh Chandra appreciated Srinu's passion and his determination to pursue it as a career to achieve the highest level in a sport that he loves.
Sri Guruvayoorappan Temple's Board of Trustee Mohan Patalolla also congratulated Srinu for his achievement and appreciated the family members for supporting him to pursue the game.
ATA New Jersey coordinator Srikanth Reddy shared his close association with Srinu's family from his childhood and congratulated for the success.
Venkat Veeramachineni from NATS appreciated Srinu's efforts and wished him all the very best for the tournament. TANA joint secretary Vasudeva Reddy was also present at the event and congratulated Srinu.
Sharath Veta from Silicon Andhra Manabadi spoke, how important it is for a Telugu person to represent Team USA. Damu Gedela, advisor for TFAS was also present at the event.
Team from People for Lok Satta also recognized the efforts of Srinu all these years to achieve his goal.
The guests felicitated Srinu and Rajani Karuturi with Shawls and a Memento from the NRI Community of North America. Friends and families of NRIs participated in this event to recognize Srinu for his achievement.
