Woman protests in front of NRI husband's house Hyderabad: A woman on Saturday staged protest before her NRI husband's home to allow her to stay with him.
B Shivani staged a protest in front of her in-laws' house in Tarnaka to allow her to stay with her husband.
According to Shivani, it's been four years of marriage to B Srinivas Goud, who is now in US, and having a son. But after staying with her husband only for one year, she was sent back to India and was staying with her in-laws since then.
She said that she was never allowed to visit her parents nor was sent back to US. She alleged that her in-laws had been harassing her for excess dowry, even after giving a house, land and gold.
'They want only my kid and not me,' said Shivani. She said that her husband Srinivas had forcefully taken her signatures on blank papers and wanted divorce.
'I was harassed a lot in the US and in India too by my husband and in-laws,' said Shivani.
She said, 'Even now I want to be with my husband and kid, and that's what I need'. She said that she would approach police against her husband and in-laws.
