Former minister's son dies in road mishap
Hyderabad: Former minister late Puli Veeranna's elder son Praveen Teja died in a road accident on the Outer Ring Road near Shameerpet on Tuesday evening.
According to police, Teja, aged around 35 years was travelling in his car at a high speed. When the car was passing near Celebrity Club at around 9 pm, he lost control over the wheel and hit the railing separating the Outer Ring Road and the service road.
Due to over speed the car turned turtle a couple of times before coming to a halt. Passersby informed 108 ambulance. By the time the ambulance reached the spot and examined Teja was found dead.
The ambulance staff informed Shameerpet police about the accident. Police rushed to the spot and identified the victim as the son of former minister with the help of documents and the cell phone. Police registered a case and investigating.
