'Snehitula Club' lifts TAL Premier League championship

London: 16 weeks, 10 Franchises, 150 players, Professional Umpires, Live Commentary, Cheer Music, Prestigious Sponsors, hundreds of Cricket fans and the hard work driven TPL committee; thats what makes a successful first ever IPL format 20-20 TAL Premier League Tournament organised by Telugu Association of London (TAL) in London for Telugu People.
After continuous matches for 16 weeks long, the finals was played on 26 August 2012 in Watford Cricket Club Stadium between 'Snehitula Club' and 'United Cricket Club'.
The TPL Team has congratulated the winner and the Champion of TAL Premier League 2012 'Snehitula Club Team', Man of the Match Mr. Kishore, Man of the Series Mr. Dundee, Best Batsman Mr. Chakri, and Best Bowler Mr. Harikanth and resented Trophies and Cash Reward.
This league was organised with high standards and various arrangements such as customised dress code, white ball etc. The TPL final was enjoyed by hundreds of Telugu families who have turned the stadium as a big celebration of Cricket.
TAL Chairman Mr. Sreedhar Vanam has reiterated that TAL's aim is to elevate TPL on par with IPL in coming years.
TPL has invited West Indies Legendry Cricket Player Mr. Gordon Greenidge as the chief guest for TPL Finals. He watched the finals curiously and presented medals to the winning team. While addressing both teams Mr. Gordon has appreciated the sportsmanship and the professionalism of both teams.
He has also appreciated for the high standard of arrangements made by TAL and thanked for encouraging cricket even in England.
TPL committee Mr. Sanjay Bhiraju, Mr. Vasu Mayreddy, Mr. Vasu Kornepati and Mr. Ravi Sabba have thanked each and everybody who has helped to make this tournament as a grand success. Also thanked Watford Cricket Club, Franchise Owners, Sponsors, Players and Cricket fans who have come to the stadium to support players.
TPL committee has also informed the crowd that, with the inspiration of London Olympics 2012, this year TAL is organising Winter Sports in a grand way and inviting all Badminton & Chess players across the country.
