Man killed, wife injured in attack Hyderabad: A person was murdered and his wife was seriously injured in an attack by miscreants near Fatima Nagar of Falaknuma late on Tuesday night.
According to police, Mohammed Ghouse Qureshi (35) was murdered and his wife Shameem Begum (25) was seriously injured in an attack by one Yousuf and his friends.
It is believed Ghouse had objected to Yousuf's behaviour towards his wife and neighbour Sana Fatima. But Yousuf, who is an auto driver and son of a rowdy sheeter Razzaq, had quarreled with Ghouse and warned him of dire consequences.
On Tuesday, along with his four friends, Yousuf attacked Ghouse with daggers resulting in his death before shifting him to the hospital. Meanwhile, his wife Shameem was also injured in the attack. She has been admitted in Osmania Hospital and said to be out of danger.
Neighbours claim that sub inspector of Falaknuma Police Station had been supporting Yousuf by taking bribe and even after a complaint was lodged by Ghouse, he had not taken any kind of action against Yousuf.
The Falaknuma Police registered a murder and attempt to murder case. They are now hunting for Yousuf and his gang who are absconding.
