NATS Gandhi Jayanti Food Drive and Volleyball Tournament
Dallas, TX ' NATS (North America Telugu Society) North Texas chapter conducted their 4th successful Gandhi Jayanti Food Drive along with Volleyball Tournament on Oct 6th and 7th at the Sportsplex at Valley View in Dallas, TX.
Fourteen teams from all over DFW metro participated in the tournament and enjoyed the tournament. Plano Thunders was the runners-up team and the Powers team were the champions.
The tournament was highly commended by the all the team members and also recognized NATS commitment towards the community. All the teams thanked NATS sports committee members for moving the tournament to an indoor arena due to inclement weather.
Rajendra Madala, Amar Anne, Bapu Nuthi, Srinivas Koneru, Satya Srirameneni, Sekhar Anne and many others worked tireless number of hours in conducting the tournament.
South Fork Dental, Internal Medicine Urgent Care Clinic of Frisco, The Patel Law Group and MPACT financial group were the key sponsors of the tournament. Canned food was collected as part of the food drive to be donated to Salvation Army.
