Cyberabad Commissioner down with dengue
Hyderabad: The dreaded mosquito bitten dengue which had hit late Yash Chopra in Mumbai and AIIMS Deputy Director Vineet Chawdhary in Delhi has now stuck top cop of Hyderabad.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner C H Dwaraka Tirumala Rao has been hit by dengue and is admitted in Star hospitals, Banjara Hills on Sunday.
Since the last four days Tirumala Rao was not well. Sources said he had been kept in ICU since Sunday and his blood platelets were very low, it was believed that he would remain in ICU for few more days till the dengue comes under control.
Meanwhile Joint Commissioner Atul singh will supervise Cyberabad police until Tirumala Rao recovers.
