Half a million raised at NATS Sambaralu Banquet Dallas, TX: NATS Sambaralu – 2013 team organized a fundraising banquet in the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Farmers Branch which was well attended by all NATS supporters, donors and sponsors.
The event was a grand success as NATS received pledges worth more than half a million dollars towards the Sambaralu 2013 conference. NATS president Mr. Ravi Madala thanked all the attendees for their support for NATS and their generous contributions since its inception.
Mr. Ravi Madala presented various initiatives NATS is undertaking including a major service initiative for 2012 to support "Bright Life Foundation" a non-profit organization dedicated to uplift the lives of under privileged children such as orphans without financial sources and street children living in the dangerous abusive environment.
NATS leadership team and the board of directors greeted attendees and Ananth Mallavarapu introduced the Sambaralu 2013 conference chair Srinivas Koneru and co-chair Vijay Velamuri.
Mr. Vijay Velamuri provided a status of the Sambaralu 2013 planning activities and a list of confirmed guests and artists.
The Sambaralu 2013 conference will be inaugurated by His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji and M. M. Keeravaani will present the musical entertainment.
Sponsors and donors actively participated in the pledge drive and motivated other friends to donate for the conference as well as other service activities NATS offers.
To the surprise of the organizers, the amount of pledges exceeded over half million dollars ($536,000) with pledges pouring in. Kalavahini team entertained the audience with melodious songs for the evening.
