GHMC special meet on Feb 6
Hyderabad, February 4 (INN): The special meeting of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to approve the budget for 2013-14 will be held on February 6 at 10 am at the GHMC Headquarters at Tank Bund.
The GHMC's budget, which has already been approved by the Standing Committee, will be presented by GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain for approval. The special meeting will be followed by ordinary meeting at 2 pm on the same day.
It may be mentioned that the GHMC ordinary meeting was held last time on May 19 last year. The Mayor has claimed that he proposed to conduct the meeting four times in the few months, but it had to be cancelled due to the then prevailing circumstances. The ordinary meeting held on February 2 too was adjourned without transacting any business.
