TEA congratulates Mrs Syama Reddy, president-elect of NATA


 
Mrs. Syama Reddy was born in Nellore, AP and received B.Sc., A.P., India, degree from S.V. University, A.P, India. and B.S. degree from Iowa State University, U.S.A., in Dietics and Institutional Management with honors and distinctions.

She serves as Chairman and President of Reddy Properties, a real estate holding company with properties in 10 states in U.S. and elsewhere in the world, and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the American Dairy and Food Consulting Laboratories, Inc. and International Media and Cultures Inc., of USA, which she owns along with her husband, Dr. M.S. Reddy.

Syama and her Husband Dr. M.S. Reddy built a massive U.S. and International business empire. Syama Reddy received several national and international business awards.

To name few, she won entrepreneur of the year award in 2002, Mercurial Business Woman of the year in 2003 from Washington, DC: Entrepreneur Leadership award in 2002 from Asian Woman in business organization of U.S.A. Mrs. Syama Reddy was the first person to receive this prestigious international award representing the entire Indian woman in the world. Elected as NRI of the year in 2003 and Outstanding NRI woman in 2005.

Mrs. Syama Reddy received International Entrepreneur of the year award in 2003 and 2006. She has received Hind Rattan award from the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Honorable, Sushil Kumar Shinde in 2005 at Hyderabad, India. She has received Bharat Gaurav award from Prime Minister of India in New Delhi in 2006.

Mrs. Reddy served American Telugu Association-ATA for over 12 years and she is currently the board of director of NATA. Mrs. Syama Reddy is an excellent administrator and also outstanding at financial management.

Mrs. Syama Reddy has been recognized as a world class business leader and a great philanthropist and strives hard to uplift the underprivileged.

It is with distinct pleasure Telugu Entrepreneurs Association congratulates her and NATA for electing the first business person and the woman as the president elect for North American Telugu Association.
