YSR jayanthi celebrated in New Jersey New Jersey: Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Foundation (USA) has celebrated YSR birthday at Thompson Park, New Jersey on July 14, 2013. Rajeshwar Reddy, Shiva Meka, Vishnu Kotimreddy, Nagi Reddy Vuyyuru, Sathya Pathapati, Srikanth Gudipati, Nagesh Mukkamalla and Venu organised the event.
Over hundred YSR followers and their family members from north east USA have attended this event. It was a nice day in the park and families enjoyed the event with delicious food. Guests form India Janardhan Reddy, Subba Rayudu attended the meet along with Indian Overseas Congress (AP) Chapter President Mahesh Saladi, NATA BODs Hari Velkur, Santosh Pathuri, Ramesh Chandra.
Janardhan Reddy, who was a farmer from YSR's native village Balapanuru spoke on this occasion. He was closely associated with YSR and his family. He mentioned that when YSR was a minister, he always want to be in the villages with farmers. He likes agriculture, still had bulls, cows and buffaloes and liked to be involved in traditional farming.
When YSR was young he used to ask him how his speech was after the political meeting and he used to make sure that his speech addressed all the issues and concerns of the people.
Mahesh Saladi spoke about his acquaintance with YSR. YSR always encouraged INOC (I) and asked him to take to the next level. YSR requested him to participate in local development of Andhra Pradesh. Every time he met him, he was very cordial and affectionate. YSR was great leader, Andhra Pradesh has ever produced.
Ramesh Chandra remembered how he used to be in Hyderabad in his earlier political career. As per him YSR had always with followers around him. His political speeches were more emotional and attractive to audience.
Vishnu Kotimreddy said that Andhra Pradesh people are really missing YSR and without him whole state is in chaos now.
Rajeshwar Reddy in his speech said that YSR is loved by everyone because he has introduced good social welfare programs for all the section of the community.
Dr. YSR Foundation is also conducting annual blood drive on September 7th, 2013 in Memory of YSR and 9/11 victims and organizers have requested the attendees to register their name for the blood drive.
Dr. YSR Foundation thanks all the volunteers and attendees who made this event successful. Attendees thanked the foundation for organizing such an event.
