TDF and T NRIs welcomed the Telangana decision
Edison, New Jersey, USA: Telangana Development Forum, USA (TDF) and the Telangana NRIs worldwide welcome whole heartedly the UPA and the Congress Working Committee decision in making Telangana as the 29th State of Indian Union. We want to thank the Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh and the Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi who are the prime movers of this decision, said Murali Chintalpani, President, Telangana Development Forum, USA.
TDF want to thank Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Rajnath Singh and Sushma Swaraj, and the NDA members for their unrelenting support to form the Telangana state. TDF want to pay homage to Late Prof. Jayashankar and the Telangana 'Amaraveerulu' for their sacrifices to bring this day. Telangana Joint Action Committees under Prof. Kodandaram and the TRS party under leadership of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Telangana students and the Telangana artists played a gigantic role in today's decision. TDF want to thank the people of Telangana, the employees and the various TJAC groups for their unending fight for the state formation.
TDF demand the UPA Government to submit and pass the Telangana bill in monsoon session and signed by President of India without further delay. We request the TJAC to monitor this process to its completion. TDF also wishes to have a brotherly relation with Seemandhra people and wish them well in developing their own region, Murali said in a press release.
