TANTEX Annual Banquet held at Irving, Texas

Irving, Texas: Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX) Annual Banquet was held at Irving in Texas on October 25th in a grand manner. Cultural Secretaries Jyothi Vanam and Krishnaveni Seelam conducted the program in a memorable way. Well known singers Suneeta and Sri Krishna, Sai Silpa and Sai Charan, Mimicry artists Venky, Trinath and TV artist Rakesh entertained the audience.
Former MP Yalamanchili Sivaji attended the program as chief guest. Vice President Narasimha Reddy Urimindi spoke about all the 27 former Presidents of the organisation.
Program was organized under the leadership of President Suresh Manduva. Suresh requested the members of TANTEX to help raise funds to build a permanent home for the organization.
More than 600 people attended the Banquet and enjoyed the dinner. Ramakrishna Lavu, Chairman, Board of Trustees thanked everyone for making the program successful.
TANTEX was formed in 1986 as a non-profit, non-religious organization to maintain, preserve and perpetuate the cultural heritage of Telugu speaking people of North Texas. Assist and promote cultural, educational, social and community affairs of the Telugu speaking people in North Texas. Foster understanding between the Telugu speaking people and others in the community. TANTEX is governed by President and an Executive Committee elected from volunteer members for an annual term from January 1st to Dec 31st.
